2013 Event Status

The event status flag will change to yellow if an advisory is in force, or red if the event has to be cancelled or postponed.

Welcome to www.walk4charity.info

home of the walk4charity

and brought to you by the four Rotary Clubs of Southport

Since 2002, we have organised a series of charity walks. The first seven of these followed the paths along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal - the first long-distance canal built in Great Britain - while the 2009 and 2010 walks were around Southport’s Scenic Seafront.

Whatever the route, the walk is designed to provide an event for individuals and groups to raise money through sponsorships for their favourite charity or good cause. In our first ten years, more than a quarter of a million pounds has been raised by more than three thousand walkers for more than a hundred good causes. Brilliant!
