Registration


No-one we know actually likes filling in forms, but in order to make things go smoothly there are some things we have to do. For example, the information on the Registration Form is potentially useful for the Emergency Services if, heaven forbid, anything should happen to any of our Walkers. So, we ask for your help....the person who benefits could be you!


Every walker must complete a Registration Form. Signing this confirms that you have read and accepted the walk4charity 2013 Terms & Conditions. Without this confirmation you cannot join the walk.


Once you have completed your Registration, and paid the fee, you will be given your Ticket to Walk. This is your passport to the open road, the great outdoors! You will need it to join the Walk.


To help you keep track of your Sponsors, we provide Sponsorship Forms, and Continuation Forms if you need more than one.


All of these forms are available to print NOW directly from this site. Just click on the links below left to download a .pdf copy of each form. The forms should be the right size to print on an A4 sheet of paper.


If you would like us to send you pre-printed copies of the forms, please let us know your name and address, and the number of copies you need. Just fill in the details on our Feedback Form which you will find by clicking on the scroll, left.


Photocopies of any form are just as acceptable!

OK, What Now?

You have the Registration Form? You now have two choices:


A: Register In Advance

You can Register and Pay In Advance (And Save Money!) Fill in all the details on your Registration Form, and send it (or as many forms as you want) together with a cheque or postal order for your entry fee/s, payable to 'Southport Meols Rotary Club' to:

We will send you the right number of Tickets to Walk. Bring the Ticket/s with you on the day and start the walk with no more formalities when you arrive.


B: Register On The Day

You can Register and Pay On The Day. All you need to do is to make sure that you have your completed Registration and Sponsorship forms, and cash or a cheque for your entry fee, with you when you arrive at Check In on the day. Just in case, we will have a supply of extra Registration Forms available at the Check In.


How Much?

The Entry Fees are very straight forward! Adults pay £7 each, young people from the ages of 8 to 17 pay £5 each, and our Apprentice Walkers who are aged 7 or under go free!


If you register in advance, and send your payment to us before 14th April, there is a specially reduced rate of £6 for adults, and £4 for young people under the age of 18.


Why Should I Register In Advance?

Because if you do:


   * you will get your Ticket to Walk sent to you in advance

   * you can begin the walk as soon as you arrive at the Start (as   

      long as it's between 10.00am and 12.30pm!) with no extra

      formalities

   * you will save CASH!


which seem like three very good reasons for getting on with the job NOW!
